RCIA – If you are interested in becoming a Catholic or perhaps you are already a Catholic and have not completed the sacraments of initiation, that is you have been baptized but not received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist and would like to do so, RCIA is the program that will help you to complete the initiation process. Call Donna at the Parish Office 226-7577 for more information on this year’s RCIA beginning in October.
Friday, August 15th is a Holy Day of Obligation. The Masses for that day will be 8:30 am and 7:00 pm.
Please remember that all bulletin articles and items to be stuffed in the bulletin must be turned in to the Parish Office by Monday at 11:00 am.
PSR REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS will be on Sunday, August 24th after the 10 am and 12 noon Masses, in the Social Hall.

In honor of the Feast day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Join Fr. John on a bus trip to Sorrowful Mother Shrine in Bellevue, Ohio. We will be celebrating Liturgy with Fr. John at the outdoor Pieta Chapel, doing Pilgrimage devotions (rosary, benediction, blessing of articles, blessing with relic, listening to a spiritual talk, and possibly doing outdoor Stations of the Cross), eating lunch at the cafeteria on the grounds and stopping at the gift shop. The date is Thursday, August 21st, the cost is $26 (for the bus and lunch), and we will be leaving at 9:15 am from St. Mark. Please call Linda Cap at 226-7577 for reservations.
SPIRITUAL LIFE COMMITTEE will meet in the Community Center on Saturday, August 23rd at 10 am. New members are welcome.
FOOD SUNDAY – The collection on Sunday, August 24th will be for The Bread Basket at the West Park Christian Reform Church. They serve 500 people per month! They are in need of, canned goods, cereal, pasta, personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies and paper products. Thank you!

Please remember to utilize this program for your benefit as well as the Parish! If we take a few minutes to “convert” the dollars we intend to spend at local stores and merchants into CPOs, you, the Parish and School will all benefit greatly.
Certificates can be purchased at the Parish Office Monday through Friday from 9:00am – 4:30pm or in the School hallway after every Mass on the weekends. If you have a large order the forms are available at the Parish Office and on the Parish website www.stmarkcleveland.com. The orders are placed Monday morning for Thursday afternoon pick-up.
School supplies and clothing, groceries, home renovations, dining out and even early Christmas shopping can all be accomplished with CPOs!
